Who to keep? Al Jefferson or Paul Millsap
Grant Bagby 01/14/2013The Jazz just ended a road trip with a winning record of 2-3. Many people will down play this since 2 of the games were against some of the worst teams in the NBA. However, this may be a confidence builder going into future road games. At least I hope so. But, as the games go by the trading deadline crawls closer.
Everyone in the NBA is waiting to watch the Jazz make a move. To some this is the reason why their will not be a trade done with the Jazz involved. The Jazz are ones to make moves by surprise, not when everyone expects it. Either way whether the Jazz make a move now or during the summer I figure Jefferson or Millsap are going to go.
So, I am going to be posting any reasons I find on who to trade.
Trade Al Jefferson:
Big Al is one of the longest tenured NBA players on the Jazz roster. Many would agree that he is one of the biggest contributors to the team. Yet, he just figured out that he is a leader. Jefferson said the following after the Jazz game against the Pistons:
I actually said to Paul, you know, “It start with us, and everybody else gonna follow.” That’s what we did.
Glad to see it finally clicked to Jefferson that he and Paul are leaders. Would it be possible to trade him for someone who can actually be a leader on this team?
