Tonight the Bros are joined by Brian Logan to discuss what BYU needs to work on during the bye week, what impact getting healthy will have on the team, and more.
BYU yet again lost a close game, this time to Boise State on the smurf turf, 28-27. The Cougar defense did their part, scoring off two pick-sixes and causing five total turnovers. However, the offense once again did not pull their weight.
As BYU enters into their bye week, the biggest question for them is “What If?” What if BYU’s offense was even somewhat good? What if Jamaal Williams was healthy against Utah, UCLA and Boise State? And of course, what if Tanner Mangum had been starting instead of Taysom Hill? Then again, what if BYU’s defense hadn’t caused 5 turnovers against Boise State, and scored 14 points? What if Rhett Almond and Jake Oldroyd hadn’t made their game winning kicks?
The questions about this team are mounting, and Cougar fans want answers in the final four games. The Bros discuss their takeaways from the Boise State “what ifs” and what they want to see in November as BYU marches towards another bowl game.
