Early NBA/Jazz Primer
JimmieChesh 09/12/2012Football season is underway. The baseball playoff races are starting to take shape. What does this mean? We are just over a month and a half away from basketball season to begin. The first complete 82 game year since last seasons lockout. Cougars, Utes and Aggie fans, the Jazz aren’t too far from taking the court when they open the season as host to the Dallas Mavericks on Halloween night.
It will be our first chance to see recently drafted rookie Kevin Murphy. Mo Williams is back in a Jazz uniform, and the Jazz also acquired Marvin Williams from the Hawks in a deal that sent Devin Harris to Atlanta. This team is young and with these new acquisitions, will be hungry to build off of their brief playoff appearance last season.
Jazz fans, get excited. It’s not too early to start to connect within your networks to find deals on pro sports tickets. While the football season is very young, it’s okay to make your preparations for basketball season. Call up your buddies and renew your fantasy basketball leagues. Check the schedule and make plans to get tickets to the games you desire. Jazz fever is just around the corner.
