Big news Utah

Two items of business today.

First, RSL should be proud!  Three members have been chosen to be on the MLS All-Star team, Kyle Beckerman, Javier Morales and Jamison Olave.

Second, the Jazz have traded Koufos away and a few draft picks to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Al Jefferson.

My commentary: Al Jefferson has played with so-so point guards so far in his career.  Now he’s coming to the Jazz to play with argueably the best point guard in the NBA, I think he’s going to excel.  I’m excited to see the possibilities.  Now all the Jazz need to do is get the shooting guard spot solid.  Should they resign Wes?  I don’t think he’s worth the contract Portland has offered.  Should the Jazz get Brewer back?  That would be interesting, but definitely not the answer.  There are players still available, so I hope the Jazz don’t settle.  O’Connor has proved he can make a move, so let’s get excited Jazz fans.  October is plenty of time to get things going and if we have to wait for the trade deadline, let’s give him some time.  Go Jazz!
